Anxiety is a natural emotion that everyone experiences. It keeps us alert, protects us from danger and motivates us to take action. Sometimes, though, anxiety takes over and prevents you from living the life that you want. When anxiety becomes overwhelming, it can be hard to sleep, relax, or concentrate.

Clients who come in to see me often avoid people and places that are important to them due to their worries. They feel self-conscious, have trouble speaking up, and struggle to set boundaries because they worry about being judged by others. Through our work together, I will help you gain the skills you need to respond to your anxiety. I believe you can arrive at a place where fears will not stop you from living your life to the fullest.

We’ll uncover thoughts, feelings and memories that underlie your worries, and learn new ways of responding to them. I’ll empower you to make lifestyle changes you can sustain, help you learn proven cognitive strategies, and implement coping tools that you can rely on.
